These words could never pay you back.
Shit, none of my friends never had no Dads.
Before we knew I had a sick style, you used to drive me to the studio to rap up on 6 Mile.

You showed me that a real man ain’t afraid because he hugs, kisses, and cries.
April to April stays faithful, loves, listens and tries.

So when I do find Mrs. Right, you best believe that my game gon’ be supa tight.
Like, you still making Mom breakfast every morning.
You start her car up in the winter when it was snowin’.

Remember when you broke it down in New Orleans?
I didn’t tell you that I had my phone out recording.
I asked you why you married Mom
And I was so lucky to have my phone out recording.
I said, “Why did you make that decision?”
And you said, “Well, Michael, I knew in my heart that I loved your Mother.”
And I said, “Is your heart more important than life?”
He said, “You’re 26, you gotta figure some things out for yourself.”

That’s some G shit.
When my son is 26, I’m gonna show him he’s gonna need this.

I thought that was worth a page or two.
Dear Dad, this is dedicated to you.

Gratitude.
Thank you.
