Mike Posner and Alex Banayan share a passionate conversation about the deaths of their fathers with Hospice Chaplain, Kevin Deegan.

Alex Banayan is a Forbes ‘30 under 30’ member and at the age of 19 became the youngest venture capitalist ever.

He is accompanied by Chaplain Kevin Deegan, a hospice chaplain who was assigned to take care of Alex’s father at the hospice leading up to his passing.

It’s coming up on a year since the original Big Man M. Jon Posner made his transition out of his body. I’m learning that the grieving process is constantly changing and never-ending. This was the first time in my life that someone really, really close to me went through this transition and I know it won’t be the last. In addition, the one thing we all have in common is that we’ll all have a death. Though it has improved in recent years, death remains a largely taboo topic. We’re supposed to pretend we’ll never die. Often, this gets in the way of living a good life. This weeks episode on my podcast is with Hospice Chaplain Kevin Deegan, one of my best friends Alex Banayan (whose father also made his transition this year) and we talk about how to die a good death and how to grieve. It’s my favorite episode yet, make sure you listen to the whole thing…the end is incredible. Love you all, MP
