You had Mike Posner on your debut album and linked up with him twice on this new LP. What about Mike Posner made you want to get him again for this project?

It was more like, right when I started working on this project I would get a call from Mike and he would be like, “Hey, what are you up to?” and I would tell him I’m on tour and working on the album. He would be like, “I got some joints I want to send you,” and he sends them, and it’s just like, man, this dude is fucking amazing and Mike is so cool. Something about him and me musically just connects. I think that he knows what records that I sound good on, and the fact that he fucks with me like that is crazy. So it’s never like, “I gotta go get those two Mike Posner features.” It’s just naturally, he’s my homie and we like making songs together. – Rittz

Since the great chemistry is there, do you think we can expect a collab project between you both?

People been saying we should and I would like that. He makes some amazing music. I did a song for him not too long ago that hasn’t been released, which is really dope. I think he’s going to have his time, not that he hasn’t already had tons of success, but he’s gonna get somewhere because the dude is really talented and positive like a motherfucker. He’s got a great mix of shit going on. – Rittz
