Mike Posner Gives Legendary a New Meaning With Intense, Rocking ‘Song About You’ on ‘Corden’

One thing is right: Mike Posner’s band is certainly legendary. Performing “Song About You” on The Late Late Show on Monday night (Oct.22), Posner & The Legendary Mike Posner Band opened the week with an unforgettable, raucous bang. Kicking off with Posner’s signature raspy voice accompanied by three gifted backing singers, the band showed off their familial dynamics in between driving drums and magnetic guitar riffs.

Taking Posner’s high-pitched scream as a signal, the performance’s mood changed completely as the band slid into the chorus — with all the members busting into lively dancing, organically complementing each other’s musical skills by delivering a one-of-a-kind super jam.

Full of energy and passion, the dynamic performance was highlighted by one of the members who alternated between playing the flute and a free jazz-style saxophone solo — as Posner’s powerful voice and bright spirit filled the room.
