Mike Posner at the 6th Annual ‘Night Of Generosity’

Singer-songwriter Mike Posner performed at Generosity.org’s 6th Annual ‘Night Of Generosity’ last Friday night, December 5, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. Generosity is a humanitarian organization that is dedicated to bringing clean water to developing countries such as India, Ghana, and Haiti. The event was hosted by Queen Latifah and Jason Kennedy, and honored Megan Fox and her husband Brian Austin Green. The attendees raised a total of $550,000, which will help fund several wells to supply clean water to people in developing countries. Check out photos of Mike below!

The 6th Annual ‘Night Of Generosity,’ presented by Generosity.org, was held Friday, December 5th at the magnificent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. From musicians to actors, the carpet was buzzing with humanitarian efforts to end the clean water crisis in many developing countries around the world.

Not only did the event occur at the most giving time of the year, but it was apparent that the feeling of gratitude, appreciation, and love was at a remarkably high level. Guests funded a total of 85 wells, which in turn will supply clean water to 42,500 people in Haiti, Ghana and India.

The evening was hosted by Queen Latifah and Jason Kennedy with honorary ambassadors Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green.

“We don’t see the difficulties and the challenges there are,” Queen Latifah said. “We don’t even think about how fortunate we are to turn on our faucets and have water; many people don’t have that. They walk miles to get water every day. These are basic primal needs in life. We can help with the water, we can do that.”

Brian Austin Green, meanwhile, said,  “Being at last year’s event touched me. Seeing Generosity raise over $400,000 in one night! People want to give and I think it encourages people in the room to give more.”

Before the night’s end, Queen Latifah funded 6 wells, then Megan and Brian donated 5 after they received an award for their tremendous involvement in the organization. The attendees were surely in the giving spirit by raising a total of $550,000. All of the contributors, along with Generosity.org’s CEO Jordan Wagner, encourage the continued support.
