Mike Posner sat down with VladTV to discuss the creative process behind his collaboration with 2 Chainz on “In Town” from Based on a T.R.U. Story, opening up about why he chooses not to use Auto-Tune in his music. Speaking candidly about its role in the industry, Mike explained, “The significance of that is that there are a lot of artists that are squeaking by that may not be necessarily good at singing.” He also reflects on how T-Pain helped shape the widespread perception of Auto-Tune and its place in modern music.
