Back in September, Mike Posner enlisted his fans to help create a second “Be As You Are” music video. He asked that they film themselves surprising their Mothers by doing something nice and submit the video footage. Even Mike & Emily Posner surprised their Mother at home in Southfield, MI on Halloween in full costumes and caught it all on film. Check out the video below!

A few months ago, I asked the members of this illustrious email list to surprise their Mothers and catch it all on camera. Here’s what happened….

Here I am on the eve of Thanksgiving, sitting in the basement where my career started, and I want to make sure I take some time out to be grateful — grateful for my fans, for my teachers, for my friends, for my family, for my Mom.

A few months ago, I asked you to surprise your Mothers and catch their reactions on video. I had no idea if anyone would actually submit videos…. but…. drum roll please… you did.

The videos you submitted were tear jerking….literally. I sat with Jeffrey who made the video below and cried over and over again watching them.

I saw videos of you revealing to your mothers that you had babies on the way,
I saw videos of you telling your mothers you received full ride scholarships to college,
I saw videos of you dancing with your mothers at your weddings to my song,
I saw those of you who have lost your mothers remembering them in the sweetest ways,
I saw you simply surprise your mothers at work with flowers,

and last of all… I got to surprise my mother too. 🙂
