Mike Posner filmed his new music video for his new single “The Way It Used To Be” all day & night in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday July 24. He shared a photo on his Instagram from the set of the music video shoot of him sitting in the driver seat of a car with Clifford McGhee & Ayden Marie Vargas, the girl that’s playing Mike’s ex-girlfriend, in the backseat.
The owner of MYRTLE, an Echo Park (Los Angeles, CA) women’s boutique, took a photo together with Mike and shared it on Instagram. The music video shoot took place on the same block as the boutique located on Sunset Boulevard.
The scene in one photo that was shared on Instagram totally reminds me of Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack) holding the boombox up above his head from the 1989 romantic comedy-drama movie ‘Say Anything’. I love that 80s movie!
I can’t wait to see this new video, and I’m hoping it’ll release real soon within the month of August. Let’s hope so! From the looks of it, it’s gonna be EPIC! Stay tuned for the new music video…
Tomorrow, I am officially Mike Posners ex-girlfriend. #bookedit
