Reebok Announces Icon Footwear Campaign
Last night, the New York Knicks took to the court at Madison Square Garden and thrashed the Portland Trail Blazers. High above the basketball action, in a luxury suite decorated for the occasion, Reebok made an announcement of their own.
With Mike Posner and Rick Ross—and Swizz Beatz, who’s been aligned with the company for a minute—on hand, Reebok presented their Spring ’12 campaign that will focus on re-releasing some of their iconic footwear from the 1980′s, including the Ex-o-Fit, WorkOut and Freestyle.
Entitled “It Takes a Lot to Make a Classic,” the multi-platform—print, TV, web—campaign will feature the aforementioned hip-hop artists as well as Young Money rapper, Tyga.
We’ll have a lot more info for you later, including quotes from all of the involved parties, but for now just know that the Massachusetts-based company is really investing a lot in bringing Reebok Back.
