VladTV: Mike Posner opens up about his new single “Top of the World,” which was produced by Diplo and Benny Blanco and features Big Sean, whom he started working with early in both of their careers. Mike reveals that working with the “Show Out” rapper on his new album brought things full circle, since they are both out of Detroit.
Mike also shares that he partnered with the New York City Food Bank on his new album Pages, which will feed one child for every album sold. Speaking about the album, which he finished at the top of 2014, Posner says he wouldn’t take away songs, he would only add to it since he’s wrote “thousands” more after it wrapped.
Towards the end of the interview, Mike is asked what his favorite song is off his new album Pages. He reveals his favorite song is titled “Gratitude”, the last song that will be featured on the album, and then shares the 2nd verse that’s dedicated to his Uncle Fred.
