Mike Posner attended this year’s ASCAP Songwriters Retreat at the 14th century, medieval Château Marouatte in the Dordogne region of Perigord Vert in France from September 27 – October 4, 2012.

ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) hosted a Songwriters Retreat last year at Château Marouatte from October 1 – 7, 2011. Ellie Goulding was one of the participants. Previous retreats have included such songwriters as Carole King, Jeff Beck, Jon Bon Jovi, Cher, Belinda Carlisle, Zucchero, Stewart Copeland, Keith Urban and Desmond Child.

I’m hoping that photos and an article is posted and shared about this year’s retreat on the ASCAP website soon! I definitely would love to see more photos! Stay tuned… 🙂
