The visuals brings us to the ‘Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program’ in Detroit, starring young dancer Big Will Simmons and Mike Posner, with an inspiring story.

Mike Posner Returns to His Roots for ‘Be As You Are’
Mike Posner goes back to his old hood for his new clip “Be As You Are” (Island).
Director Elliott Sellers (Young The Giant, Christina Perri, Jason Mraz) trains his camera on charismatic dancer Big Will Simmons, who stars as he works out in the Downtown Boxing Gym, a not-for-profit whose “youth program” introduces local kids into the ring and helps shape them for life outside it.
“Be As You Are” follows the Posner’s global smash “I Took a Pill in Ibiza,” which hit No. 1 in the U.K. and No. 4 in the U.S. The singer tells Billboard his new number is “among the most honest songs I have written. I was just trying to tell the truth.”
