He’s produced multiple solo hits like “Cooler than Me” and “Please Don’t Go” and produced and written numerous others like Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” and Maroon 5’s “Sugar”. Most recently, a remix of his 2015 single “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” peaked in the top 10 on the charts in 27 countries around the world, including hitting number one in many and the top five on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. He now has a podcast exploring philosophy, society, culture and family called “What does this all mean?” In this interview, we plan to explore his prolific music career, rapid early rise to success, recent musical comeback and general themes he explores in his podcast.
