Mike Posner has announced the release of Pages, a long-awaited album that dates back to 2013. On Friday, October 23, the singer-songwriter shared the news in his newsletter and on social media, revealing that the previously unreleased 16-track project will celebrate the relaunch of Inner Bloom, his official online community.
Featuring appearances from Big Sean, Justin Bieber, 2 Chainz, and others, Pages offers fans a chance to hear music that Mike originally worked on more than a decade ago. He also announced that “Pretty Damn Good” will be the first track available to fans who join the album’s waitlist through Inner Bloom.
The Story Behind Pages
Following the release of his debut album, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, in 2010, Mike began working on his sophomore album, initially titled Sky High. After that project was shelved, he shifted his focus to Pages, which he began developing in 2013.
The album was intended to be his next major release, with “The Way It Used to Be” arriving as a single in June 2013. Later that year, Mike released “Top of the World,” featuring Big Sean, as another preview of the project. Despite the planned album rollout, Pages never received an official release.
During this period, Mike also continued writing music for other artists. One notable example was “Sugar,” which he co-wrote and recorded before the song eventually became a hit for Maroon 5 in 2015.
Mike ultimately moved on from the material and began working on new music after parting ways with RCA Records. This change in direction led to his second studio album, At Night, Alone, released in 2016, which included his hit “I Took a Pill in Ibiza.”
Now, more than a decade after Pages was first announced, Mike is bringing the project back into the spotlight. In an Instagram post announcing the news, he explained that he had been trying to release the album since 2013 but had never been allowed to do so.
Pages Tracklist
The 16-track album features a collection of songs and spoken-word pieces, with several titles accompanied by dates spanning April 2013 to February 2014. The tracklist includes appearances from Big Sean, Labrinth, Jacob Luttrell, Priscilla Renea, Logic, and others.

Inner Bloom Returns
Alongside the album announcement, Mike revealed that he is relaunching Inner Bloom, the online community he created to connect with fans. He explained in his newsletter that he had stepped back from posting and hosting regular calls within the community while undertaking the nearly 3,000-mile Continental Divide Trail last year.
Mike shared that he had felt guilty about not keeping up with the community but ultimately decided to bring it back as Inner Bloom 2.0.
The relaunch will also serve as the home for Pages. In his Instagram announcement, Mike encouraged fans to join the waitlist. Those who join can access “Pretty Damn Good,” the first song from the previously unreleased album.
Original Inner Bloom members can also receive their first two months of the relaunched community for free, as announced in Mike’s newsletter.
With Pages finally set to reach listeners after years of waiting, fans have a chance to revisit an important chapter in Mike’s musical history and hear a collection that was originally intended to follow his debut album.
